Life With A View is a story of love’s power to transport the lost and the lonely out of the mundane and into the ethereal, to draw us ever upwards, its mystic force assisting us in the horrid struggle to overcome ourselves and reach an eternal resting place of happiness. It is a story full of surreal honesty, cosmic beauty and ultimate triumph – of a man neither young nor old, who embarks on a journey from despair and loss of love to hope and happiness. These are songs of sadness and memory, of escape from darkness, of the rise to the light of the sun, of paranoia and internal strife, and of an apparently hopeless desire to reach the moon. To experience suffering, to calm the turbulence of oneself, to be filled with joy, to be both lover and beloved, to share an impossible destination with another – this is Life With A View, an idea of the world without which life has no aim and therefore no meaning. But to have the audacity to believe that a story which began in darkness and misery can end in beauty and happiness – this alone is to have life with a view, to have music of soaring transcendence, to have the lunacy of a love that can carry us to rest, to have the song, like Goethe’s Faust, of a life in which “here is the freest view, of spirit borne skywards.” This is to be the human story.

Merry Christmas once again! We are happy to say that Kaylee Black, who recorded cello on the record, will be joining us on stage for the release party and other future shows. She will be playing cello along with some glock and vocals.
She has been rehearsing with us and we are so excited for her to perform with us!

We recorded “Life With A View” throughout all of June, July, and August and it was the most time we had put into any recording process.
We were lucky to have some help from three members of The Sussex County Youth Orchestra. Kaylee Black, Socrates Leotsakos, and Stephanie Leotsakos wrote and performed parts as a string trio throughout the album. This was quite an experience for us because we had never worked with a string section before. The three of them did an amazing job and we are hoping to work with them again.

Our life long friend, Randy aka “Randle The Handle” will be performing shows with us on bass, guitar, synth, percussion… basically anything and everything. He has played a few shows with us before, and is currently the bassist in BSJQ.

As a side note, Randy and I have been working hard during finals week to beat all the old school Mega Man games from NES. 2 down so far…

Hello everybody,
We are very happy to announce as part of our string of updates on our soon to be released record, that Catie Brandt will be joining us as a performing member of Pegasus Jetpack. Catie is a good friend of ours who you might have seen with us or our friends BSJQ in the past. Catie is a phenomenal vocalist and brings a lot to the table. She will be accompanying us on vocals (amongst other things) for our upcoming shows, including the release party.

CD Release December 30th!
It’s official! Our first full record, “Life With A View” will be out December 30th at our very own CD Release Party. Los Huevos and the crew from Smallboypants will be joining us at the Sparta VFW Hall; the show starts at 7pm and there will be an after-party up the road. We like to call it our New Year’s Eve’s Eve Party.
The album has 10 all new songs that we have not released in any form. We worked so hard on it and ended up with something really different and something that we are truly proud of. December 30th cannot come soon enough!
We will be posting info on the album and how it was made from now until the show date so be sure to check back often to see pictures, videos, and maybe a sneak peak song.
